About Bubba’s Breakfast & BBQ

A Jackson Hole Breakfast and Barbecue Tradition

For more than 40 years, Bubba’s Breakfast & BBQ has been feeding Jackson Hole with hearty breakfasts, slow-smoked meats, generous portions, and the kind of welcoming hospitality that makes everyone feel at home.

Bubba’s brings together two great American traditions under one roof: a classic, made-from-scratch breakfast and authentic, low-and-slow barbecue. Mornings begin with homestyle favorites like biscuits and gravy, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and filling breakfast plates. Later in the day, the smokers take center stage with brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, and other barbecue favorites served alongside familiar, comforting sides.

At Bubba’s, there is no need to dress up or overthink it. The atmosphere is casual, friendly, and built for real life—early breakfasts before a day in the mountains, lunch with the family, a plate of barbecue after an adventure, or an easy meal with friends. Locals have returned for generations, while Jackson Hole visitors have made Bubba’s a regular stop on their trips through the valley.

Rooted in Western tradition, Bubba’s has earned its reputation through consistency, hard work, and food that satisfies. The barbecue is smoked slowly for tenderness and flavor, while breakfast remains a cornerstone of the restaurant’s identity. From biscuits and gravy in the morning to applewood-smoked brisket later in the day, Bubba’s reflects Jackson Hole’s practical, unpretentious spirit.

Today, Bubba’s continues to serve locals and travelers from its home at 100 Flat Creek Drive in Jackson, Wyoming. It remains a family-friendly gathering place for breakfast, lunch, barbecue, burgers, sandwiches, and a comfortable meal after a long day exploring Jackson Hole.

The History of Bubba’s

Bubba’s began more than four decades ago with a simple idea: serve satisfying American food, smoke barbecue slowly, and treat every guest like a neighbor.

Over the years, it grew into one of Jackson Hole’s longest-running barbecue and breakfast restaurants. Its combination of classic breakfast, smoked meats, casual service, and Western character helped make it a familiar part of the community. Local tourism sources have long described Bubba’s as a Jackson Hole classic, highlighting its Texas-style barbecue, handmade biscuits and gravy, ribs, brisket, chicken, and pulled pork.

While Jackson Hole has changed considerably, Bubba’s has stayed focused on the qualities that built its reputation: hearty portions, recognizable food, dependable value, and down-to-earth hospitality. Its rustic atmosphere and long history have made it a restaurant where longtime residents, seasonal workers, families, and first-time visitors can all gather around the same table.

Now part of the locally operated Blue Collar Restaurant Group, Bubba’s continues that tradition while evolving its menus, ingredients, and guest experience for a new generation. Blue Collar Restaurant Group describes itself as a family-run restaurant company rooted in hard work, community, and the values established by founders Joe and Denise Rice.

Bubba’s story is not built around trends. It is built around showing up early, keeping the smokers going, serving food people recognize, and welcoming Jackson Hole through the doors day after day.
